We can only guess that if you're reading this... you're interested in becoming politically active. But if you are truly interested in being apart of political action, then you are making a commitment right now. You are making a commitment to yourself, to your family, to your neighbors, to your community and to your nation. You are committing to involving lots of people in our cause. It is from those people that you will get involved and those that are already involved that we will find our board members, staff, and future leaders.
A member of An American Warning is someone who shares a commitment to the mission and goals of An American Warning and is willing to devote unpaid time to implementing the plans we have all decided on. Even if it’s spare to time to simply talk to someone close to them and let them know we are here.
In the end, we want An American Warning to become bigger than every single one of us. We want it to form change for our children and our grandchildren and so on.
So you need to ask yourself a few questions. Are you a true patriot? Do you feel that your voice is heard by your government? Are you ready for common sense, fiscal responsibility, and true representation? We are an American Warning – and together, we are fighting for our government of the people, for the people! Through many different outlets, we offer the means of action – not just an opportunity to complain. Now is the time – we are the way.
So who is An American Warning and what do we stand for?
We are true Constitutionalists - Independent in nature with strong conservative values.

Welfare reform,
Tax reform,
Gun rights,
Hunting and fishing rights,

Lawsuit reform (cap how much juries can award),
Medicare and Medicaid reform (allow these institutions to directly negotiate with Drug companies for lower prices),
Health care reform (encourage private insurance growth and lower costs from private insurance companies),
Investments to strengthen Western Hemisphere countries and trade between them (remember Monroe Doctrine!!!!),
DEFENSE OF AMERICAN CITIZENS!!! ,
Responsible spending of tax dollars,
Social Security reform,
Tougher penalties for violent and repeat offender criminals,
Jessica's Law (mandatory 25 year sentence if convicted of sexual crime against any child under age of 13),
English as the Official Language of the United States,
Smarter security measures (profiling, Using tactics Israel uses in regards to public transportation, Public watchdog groups to monitor security levels of ports, public transportation, borders, power plants, etc)
MAKE SURE TAX DOLLARS ALLOCATED TO DEFENSE AND SECURITY ARE GOING TO THESE PROGRAMS!!!

Obviously this is a large wish list – that just means we have a lot of work to do. In turn, we need lots of help.
So why this type of website or community:
Our goal is to educate people on current, past, and future issues and on issues that do one of two things - cost us money, or invade our constitutional rights. We do this by overlapping headlines with other news stories and show you the significance of certain points within those headlines. Then we show you how you can change it as well as take an active roll in correcting these problems with the help of fellow members. Additionally, through this type of environment, you can do more than just be angry. You can vote on certain campaigns, post opinions and conversation starters, and take an active roll in the process. The only thing that limits your involvement is you. You can literally do as much as you want in step with your abilities.
More to do:
Through public announcements (television campaigns), speeches at schools and community events, website marketing, and other marketing materials, we make as much noise as possible and equalize the internal American threat in our communities. We concentrate on what can be done about what is currently happening. We educate people that they can do more than just be angry about how things are now.
Public Works:
We eventually want to offer Scholarships for children of fallen soldiers, scholarships for like minded students: ranging from $500 – multiple thousands. Support funds for families of fallen soldiers. Support funds and grants for Veterans. We want to offer the “Patriot in Action Scholarship” that will be awarded to anyone displaying courage, determination, and an interest in the advancement of our ideals. There are many ways to serve your country and ways to be a patriot, and we want to honor all of them.
Funding:
Keeping in mind that membership is free; we will primarily get funding through donations from the general public as well as private businesses, simply because as this American threat continues, they have the most to lose. But because we are so dedicated to our goals, we also decided to sell marketing materials that help further our cause as well as apparel and other items.
Lobbying:
In the short term we will support like minded politicians. We would help fund the elections etc starting on the local level. Lobbying makes sense, however long-term our stance is to eventually take special interests and lobbyist out of policy and law making - put the power back into the people’s hands with reforms that limit this kind of behavior. Perhaps change what and how a lobbyist actually works. A re-definition and re-direction.
Our Candidates:
Currently, we move in the right vs. wrong direction. It is situation by situation and we do not go down party lines. The decisions that are made are made by the board and the members via polls, conferences, emails, etc. Eventually, we would help those from our ranks to get into office to change policy and guide this country in a better direction.
Fun and Games:
We hope to hold Awareness Events such as: Paintball, concerts, BBQ’s, lake parties, etc where like minded people can come together and have fun and hear from important people in the movement.
Extras:
And the most important and exciting part of all of this… is that we believe the best ideas have yet to be heard. Why? Because you haven’t joined yet. We take every single idea and evaluate it. And if we all agree on it… we implement it.
Why is the membership free?
Why isn’t it? We’re not going to make you pay for information. We’re not going to make you pay to be apart of something. We’re not going to make you pay to voice your opinions. We need you to sign up so we can show strength in numbers. We need you to leave your input on issues you feel strongly about. That’s it. Sure, from time to time via mass email, we’ll inform you of a fundraiser we might have going on. You’re contributions are completely voluntary and we’ll never pressure you give because we feel that everyone has their own level of commitment as well as extra money. However, when it comes time to organize the masses or sign a petition, we’ll ask for you support and really hope you get involved.
